The 2nd Missile Maintenance Department of Padova hosted the Italian tennis players. 45 athletes belonging to the teams of the Command for Support of High-Level Bodies participated in the event; the 1st ranked team was led by Lieutenant Colonel Paolo Maestri, the Command for Air Force Squads was the 2nd ranked team, led by Major Pompilio Sammaciccio, the Command for Logistics was the 3rd ranked team, led by Lieutenant Gaetano Gison, and the Command for Schools of the A.M./3rd Air Region was the 4th ranked team, led by Lieutenant Giuseppe Serra and Lieutenant Colonel Riccardo Nanni respectively.
The regulations stipulate the awarding of the trophy, which is awarded each year; before it is definitively awarded, it must be won by the same team for at least three consecutive editions.
The award ceremony was presided over by the Commander of the 2nd RMMM, Colonel Giovanni Battista Vicinanza, in the presence of the President of the “MI SO TUTO” Circle, Marshal Simone Mario.
The 2nd Missile Maintenance Department, subordinate to the 2nd Division of the A.M. Logistics Command, ensures the technical, logistical and maintenance management of the HH-212 helicopter, the Air Defense Aerea Terra/Aria missile systems, the onboard armament and the ground armament provided to the Air Force, and performs the functions of Air Guard Command, ensuring logistical and administrative support to all A.M. agencies in the Patavina area.
