The Italian Air Force Open Day scheduled for 4 October at Milan Linate has been cancelled.

The Air Force announces that the Open Day scheduled for Saturday 4th October at the Milan Linate Military Airport, organised as part of the celebrations for the centenary of the Armed Force's presence in the city, has been cancelled.

The decision was made as a mark of respect and in sorrow for the tragic air accident that occurred near Circeo National Park, which involved a T-260B aircraft from the 70th Wing of Latina.

The Air Squad Command – 1st Air Region of the Air Force embraces the bereaved families, expressing its closeness and the deepest sentiment of solidarity.
