The solemn Eucharistic liturgy in honor of the “Celestial Patroness” of aviators was celebrated at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. A large representation of the Air Force General Staff, High Commands and Training Schools took part in the event, accompanied by the Military Band of the Air Force. General Bernardis, in his message addressed to the personnel of the Air Force for the occasion, stated: “This festival, which brings us together every year, represents a moment of profound and shared reflection on our daily human, social and professional commitment. The past, the present and the future converge in our minds and hearts in an ideal journey marked by certain references such as the spirit of service and the sense of duty that, throughout our history, have allowed us to operate with consistency, motivation and honesty of intent, providing the country with a transparent and accurate perception of our mission and the integrity and strength of spirit necessary to honor it daily [..]”.Agenda of the Chief of Staff
