The Head of the Support Service of the Logistics Command wanted to learn about the reality of the Unit. Upon his arrival, General Li Causi was welcomed by the Airport Commander, Colonel Raffaele Iannelli, and the Director of the 5th GMV, Lieutenant Colonel Patrizio Stornaiulo.
Following the initial greetings and an introductory briefing on the tasks, objectives and future commitments of the GMV, General Li Causi toured the Department, also stopping at the workshop of the Mechanical Construction Section, where he commended the professionalism of the civilian personnel. The logistics and training facilities were then inspected.
The visit ended with the usual exchange of crests.
The 5th GMV, reporting to the 2nd Division of the Logistics Command, ensures support to the Armed Force's Units through the maintenance, management and training of the entire Operational Multi-role A.G.E. fleet, as well as the SF260 instrumental trainers located at the Pozzuoli Academy and the 70th Wing in Latina.
