Monday 21 February in Florence, the closing ceremony in the presence of General S.A. Preziosa, Commander of Schools A.M./3rd R.A. of Bari
In addition to General Preziosa, the Commander of the ISMA, Brigadier General Claudio Salerno, the Rector of the University of Florence, Prof. Alberto Tesi, the course coordinator, Prof. Luciano Bozzo, civil and military authorities, and Prof. Mark Conversino, Director of Studies at the Air War College of the US Air Force, were also present.
The Commander of ISMA began the ceremony by addressing a greeting and heartfelt thanks to all those present, especially to the representatives of the University of Florence who, with their presence, wished to testify to the close relationship of collaboration between the Air Force and the University of Florence.
General Preziosa highlighted that “the completion of the master’s degree in leadership and strategic analysis, which concludes a post-university study course, represents for us the achievement of a concrete and highly ambitious goal”.
Furthermore, he emphasized that “the future requires a targeted training of personnel in leadership skills, and this master’s degree should be considered a flagship for our country, not only for the military but also for the civilian sector: leaders are needed in all fields.” The Commander of the A.M./3rd Air Region Schools then congratulated the students on their excellent achievements and wished them a future full of satisfaction.
The ceremony then concluded with the moment of handing over the master's degree certificates to all the participants, first and foremost to the captains Sebastiano Palermo and Guido Tatone, the top-placed graduates, who received their certificates directly from the Commander of the A.M./3rd Air Region Schools.
