For their ordinary assembly, the Foreign Military Attache gathered at the Experimental Flight Center to welcome the Military Attaches. Colonel Vittorio Forcato, Head of the Flight Test Coordination Office and Head of the Operational Technical Office, welcomed them with the words of the CSV Commander, Air Division General Fabio Molteni, and the Pratica di Mare Airport Commander, Air Brigade General Sandro Sampaoli, who thanked the CAME for choosing the Experimental Flight Center as the venue for the assembly.
Work has therefore begun, with the newly elected Dean, Senior Colonel Ye Feng of the Chinese Embassy, presenting the Steering Committee, listing the new Foreign Military Attachees who have arrived in Italy. During the meeting, among the many topics discussed, the activities carried out by the C.A.M.E. over the past year were also presented, as well as those that are intended to be proposed and organized for the future.
At the conclusion of the work, the C.A.M.E. was visited by the Commander of the 2nd Department of Information and Security of the General Staff of the Defense, Brigadier General Giovanni Caravelli, who addressed them with his personal greeting and that of the Chief of Staff of the Defense, Admiral Luigi Binelli Mantelli.
The Military Staff Officers subsequently watched a summary film of the activities, tasks and mission of the C.S.V. After the traditional exchange of Crests between the C.A.M.E. dean and Colonel Forcato, the group was taken to the flight line of the Experimental Flight Department (RSV), where they were able to admire some of the aircraft in service with the Department.
