The 1st-year cadets of the Air Force Academy in Pozzuoli carried out an introductory visit to the Grazzanise Department.
Colonel Maurizio Cocci welcomed them and outlined the programme for the visit, which was aimed at familiarising them with the Wing's operational activities and its mission. After visiting the airport and the Aircraft Efficiency Group (G.E.A.), the students were presented with the 21st ”Tigre” Flying Group, where the guests were able to witness a simulation of a SAR (Search and Rescue) recovery event with AB.212 helicopters. This was followed by a meeting with the crews, a visit to the static display of vehicles and equipment of the Air Riflemen on VTML “Lince” vehicles.
The experience sparked great enthusiasm among the participants who seized the opportunity to get to know sectors of potential employment up close.
