The priests gathered at the Salento base for a day of prayer
The zonal meeting was chaired by Don Fabio Villani, Military Chaplain of the 61st Wing and Joint Services Chief – Vicar Foraneo of the 13th Pastoral Zone. After the concelebration of Holy Mass by all the priests present at the airport church, the meeting continued in the Wing's Meeting Room, where a theological, spiritual, and pastoral discussion took place among the chaplains on the identity of the priest as a “shepherd of souls”.
The priests' fraternity day concluded with a meeting with Colonel Sergio Cavuoti, Commander of the 61st Wing, who, in his address, thanked the military chaplains for the important work carried out within the Armed Forces' peripheral bodies and departments.
