The handover with Gen. Fantuzzi was presided over by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Gen. S.A. Corsini. The event, presided over by the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, Air Squad General Roberto Corsini, was attended by the Heads of Department/General Office, the Deputy Heads of Department and all the personnel of the 3rd Department of the Air Staff. Subsequently, General Fantuzzi and General Candotti, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, were received by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Squad General Giuseppe Bernardis, to bid farewell.
