In collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture ‘Valle Giulia’ of “La Sapienza” University of Rome, the exhibition will run from 24 November to 6 December in the Madonna di Loreto Hall and the Sala degli Eroi. The exhibition, which will be displayed in the ‘Sala Madonna di Loreto’ and the ‘Sala degli Eroi’ of Palazzo Aeronautica, includes works of aeropainting, historical documents, videos, and clothing inspired by Futurism. Also on display will be 13 Futurist paintings from the Ventura collection, ranging from Rognoni in 1916 to Tato in 1931. The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Italian Air Force and the Faculty of Architecture “Valle Giulia,” serving as a study laboratory for students of the Roman university, alongside those from the DAMS degree course at Roma Tre University and the Academy of Costume and Fashion of Rome. This is the second event planned as part of the ‘Aero Moda Futurista’ project, following the ‘Serata futurista’ which took place on 30 September and 1 October at the Teatro Palladium in Rome.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, according to the following schedule:
– Tuesday 24 November and 1 December from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00;
– Friday 27 November and 4 December from 14:00 to 17:00;
– Saturday and Sunday 28-29 November and 5-6 December from 10:00 to 17:00.
Visitors, gathered into groups of 20-25 and managed by staff from ‘Valle Giulia’, will enter the Palazzo A.M. complex through the entrance at Viale Pretoriano, 18. From there, after a brief introduction to the architectural complex, they will ascend to the ‘Noble Floor’, which is not normally open to the public, via the Grand Staircase. On this floor, visitors will be welcomed by other university staff acting as guides. In addition to the two rooms, other rooms on the floor will also be open to the public. At the end of the visit, following the reverse route, visitors will be escorted back to the exit to make way for the next group.
In order to book guided tours and to ensure an orderly flow at the entrance, the ‘Valle Giulia’ Faculty has established a booking service for visits at the following email address:
