Just a few days after the plane crash in which four AM officers lost their lives, Minister Pinotti visited Ghedi to meet with the staff.
During the visit, the Minister reiterated his closeness and affection to the families and colleagues of Captain Mariangela Valentini, Captain Alessandro Dotto, Captain Giuseppe Palminteri and Captain Paolo Piero Franzese.
The two Tornado aircraft had taken off from the 6th Stormo base in Ghedi for a planned and approved training mission in accordance with the flight rules, in preparation for a NATO exercise scheduled for next autumn.
