On Wednesday 16 February, the Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force was welcomed upon his arrival by Col. Colonna, Commander of the Wing, and Col. Battisti, Director of the 10th RMV. Colonel Colonna held a briefing introducing the Department, which has always been a point of reference in the professional training of military pilots. General Habashneh then made a brief visit to the Department, which included visits to the flight simulators, the aircraft maintenance hangars, and the RES, the computer system for receiving, processing, and presenting high-performance flight parameters for analysis, in debriefing, of the missions carried out by the 212th Flight Group during the lead-in fighter program. It was precisely the extensive possibilities offered by this latter aid that particularly interested the Delegation, which did not fail to express words of appreciation for the entire context and the contents of the visit. For Colonel Colonna, the event represented an additional opportunity to highlight the commitment of the Salento Flight School in enhancing the human resources, professional skills and knowledge of which the Department is in possession, as well as to illustrate the projects undertaken at various levels aimed at improving and perfecting the training process and continuing to provide an offer of absolute quality, essential to support the international aspirations of the Lecce Flight School.
