For 70 young people from Italy, France, Germany and Spain, two unforgettable weeks have come to an end. The province of Ogliastra, with its rugged coastline, breath-taking landscapes and nature trails, provided the backdrop for the young people's programme, which was packed with sporting, recreational and cultural activities. Beach activities, such as kayaking, sailing and snorkeling, were among those most appreciated by the youngsters. There was also the opportunity to dive into and explore some water caves in the Arbatax area, go hiking around Perdasdefogu and do cave walking with the expert assistance of the Ogliastra Caving Group. All the Youth Camp activities were carried out thanks to the Perdasdefogu Firing Range Command and the local administrations, which have always stood alongside the Italian Air Force. The Youth Camp is an activity that forms part of the cultural exchanges between the welfare organisations of the 12 European nations belonging to CLIMS (Comité de Liaison des Organismes Militaires Sociaux).
