The course, called “Advanced Interoperable Load Management Course”, was attended by several European countries. The course, in particular, aims to increase interoperability between the different Armed Forces through advanced joint training in aircraft loading. To this end, the participants had the opportunity to perform multiple cargo loading operations on different transport aircraft: a C-160 provided to Germany and a KC-767 of the Air Force. The European Air Group (EAG), founded in 1995 to strengthen collaboration between the British and French air forces during operations in the Balkans, has also included Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Italy since 1997. Currently, the organization is aiming to improve tactical capabilities and interoperability between the air forces. To pursue its mission, the EAG, based at the Royal Air Force Base in High Wycombe in Great Britain, promotes studies, projects, and training in the integration of “forces” through working groups operating in the tactical, operational, logistical, and communication sectors through cooperation in the execution of joint operations. The 46th Air Brigade ensures strategic and tactical air transport for missions within and beyond national borders, emergency medical transport, air evacuation, the transport of materials, personnel, and equipment worldwide, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, thanks to the personnel and the three Flight Groups: 2nd, 50th, and 98th.
