The course closing ceremony was held in the Aula Magna of the Airspace Control Training Department at Pratica di Mare. By successfully completing the course, 19 Italian Air Force Non-Commissioned Officers have qualified.
The course lasted for five weeks, during which the attendees undertook a very intensive training programme aimed at acquiring skills in meteorological information essential for flight assistance. The RACSA is the Air Force Department that trains and qualifies personnel assigned to the provision of Aeronautical Meteorology Services and personnel responsible for Airspace Control, Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers who, based on their specialty, are employed as Air Traffic and Air Defence Controllers.
