The newly qualified “Flight Procedures Designer” represent a highly specialized figure and will operate at the CIGA in the design of flight procedures for military and civilian airports located within the Control Areas (CTR) under the jurisdiction of the Air Force and the airspaces reserved for military activities.
When designing flight procedures, the criteria established by the ICAO and NATO are applied, particularly for procedures involving military aircraft with high performance capabilities.
The CIGA, which is subordinate to the Air Force Command, ensures the support for aerial operations through the production and dissemination of geospatial and aeronautical information, promoting the technical and scientific development of the sector.
