The Head of the Commissary Department of the Commissary and Administration Service of the Logistics Command visited the Villafranca facility.
Following a briefing on the Department's main financial activities, given by the Head of Administrative Services, Captain Claudia Macchi, the visit continued with an illustration of some field assets of the Operational Support Mobile Group, the Air Terminal Operation Centre (ATOC) and the aircraft assistance section of the Operational Support Services Group.
Subsequently, guests completed the safe driving course and the “off-road” course, designed to provide the basic skills needed to safely drive an off-road vehicle, with the driving group's instructor staff. In the afternoon, Brigadier General Cuciniello also visited the Wing's Administrative Service. The day concluded with the signing of the Book of Honour, on which occasion Brigadier General Cuciniello wrote: ...the achievement of the mission entrusted... by the Armed Force, is the result of a “team”, prepared, motivated and convinced of its capabilities. The Commander is the “coach”, the orchestra conductor. I have seen an organisation capable of producing an excellent “symphony” in its results and I am proud to have met its performers and to have supported it... so that the vital “lifeblood” does not falter in the “endless” continuation of the Wing's operations! Well done everyone, and special congratulations to Colonel Maistrello.
