The Prefect of Udine also attended the ceremony
The event was chaired by Colonel Enrico Frasson, Commander of the Garrison and of the 2nd Wing.
The ceremony was attended by the Prefect of Udine, Dr Ivo Salemme, local civil and military authorities, as well as combatant and service associations, including the Air Force Association, which, once again, with their presence wished to bear witness to the bond between the Armed Force and retired personnel.
Colonel Frasson, in his greeting, invited all personnel to a moment of intimate and profound reflection on what the Italian Air Force and State Institutions should mean to everyone, even more so in a delicate moment like this characterised by continuous economic and financial contraction.
