From 24 to 26 June, the first edition of the international event took place Adorea 2025, organized byto the Italian Air Force. The main objective of the event was to initiate a Technology mapping campaign dedicated to the innovative solutions developed by manufacturers of drones belonging to the classes Mini e micro, increasingly strategic technologies for the security and efficiency of contemporary military operations.
The event opened on 24 June, at the Air Force Palace in Rome, with a Workshop of the presentation of the participating companies. All'incontro hanno preso parte 19 businesses from different countries, all leading players in the field of systems unmanned. The companies have outlined the technical features of their drones, their relative operational applications and expected benefits for the military scenario, highlighting how this technology is rapidly transforming the way missions are conducted Real-time surveillance, reconnaissance, and tactical support.
It 25 and 26 June the event has moved to the training area of Furbara Airport, home of the 17th Raiders Wing, to which the Joint Special Forces Operations Command (COFS) has assigned the task of developing operational drone capabilities in support of special operations. In this phase, companies have had the opportunity to concretely demonstrate the capabilities of their systems in High-complexity simulated scenarios, highlighting performance, reliability, and the ability to Interoperability. Demonstrative activities, also organised in collaboration with the Experimental Flight Department of the Airborne Experimentation and Space Division (DASAS) of Pratica di Mare, they understood missions of surveillance, detection, data collection and multi-drone cooperation, offering those present a realistic overview of the potential offered by these systems in challenging operational contexts.
The operations involved a wide range of platforms unmanned, designed to operate in diverse environmental conditions and tactical scenarios, demonstrating the’extreme versatility and adaptability for this category of drones. The connections and multimedia support systems for the activity were provided by 3rd Logistic Command Division, from 4a Telecommunications and Air Defence Systems Brigade and Flight Assistance in the Borgo Piave area and from the 2nd Communications Technical Department of Bari.
Underlining the strategic value of the initiative, numerous military authorities representing all the Armed Forces and joint units, including the, participated in the event. Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Force General Giovanni Balestri and the Commander of the COFS, Admiral Paolo Pezzutti.
Adorea 2025 has confirmed itself as a Strategic platform for comparison and innovation, contributing to strengthening the dialogue between the Armed Forces and businesses Leader in the sector unmanned, representing a significant step towards the adoption of cutting-edge technological solutions in modern operational scenarios.
