On the occasion of the X World Haemophilia Day, a valuable recognition was paid to the Air Force. In the setting of the stables at Palazzo Ruspoli, Brigadier General Domenico Abbenante, Director of the Institute of Aerospace Medicine in Rome, accepted an award for the constant and concrete commitment shown by the Armed Force towards the Federation of Haemophilia Associations.
The event, sponsored by the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Health, was met with praiseworthy acclaim and cemented cross-functional collaboration with the Italian Air Force. The funds raised were donated to the Policlinico Umberto I, La Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Cellular Biotechnology and Haematology.
