At the Air Force Academy, the 5th Fixed-Term Reserve Officer Cadet Course (A.U.F.P.) swore an oath of allegiance to the Italian Republic.
The ceremony took place in the Student Parlour of the Institute in the presence of the graduands' families and the Permanent Staff of the Academy.
In his speech, General Giancotti, reiterating the importance of the moral value of the oath taken, urged the young cadets to reflect on their role and the need to act, once assigned to their unit, with commitment and determination to achieve the institutional mission.
