The Commander of the Alpine Troops Command and the Commander of the Air Operations Command visited the Forward Operating Base. The exercise, which will conclude on Friday 8 September with a Media Day, has the main objective of training Italian and foreign flight units, rescue coordination centres, and ground teams in planning, directing, and managing aerial search and rescue operations in mountain environments, even in critical weather conditions, thereby fostering knowledge and the development of common procedures that comply with international standards.
