New stage in the journey through the professional skills expressed by the Arms Branch Furbara Airport, one of the “oldest” aeronautical sites, having been built on the occasion of the First World War, provided the backdrop for the visit that the Major General of the Weapons Branch, Major General Giorgio Baldacci, made to the 17th Wing on Thursday 15 March. The latter hosts one of the most distinctive expressions of the Weapons Branch specialties, the “Raiders”, which is the air-oriented component of the special forces. The Weapons Corps General acts as the Chief of Staff of the Air Force's adviser on matters concerning the Corps, with particular regard to personnel training and employment profiles, as well as for technical issues within the specific sector.
