A day full of events and celebrations at the Pratica di Mare military airport. The Experimental Flight Department is tasked with supporting the operational departments of the Air Force through the experimentation, integration, and validation of new weapon systems or those undergoing modification. The RSV is also responsible for issuing or optimising deployment procedures, as well as providing initial training for Flight Departments. Furthermore, the RSV, also in response to the changing geopolitical, social, and economic context, has significantly boosted activities supporting operational departments, essentially through the instrument of operational technical certification, which allows for the rapid and autonomous implementation of technological solutions capable of meeting new demands in hostile theatres. The RSV also operates for the benefit of other Armed Forces, State Armed Corps, and bodies of the General Secretariat of Defence/National Armaments Directorate.
