The collaboration agreement will allow for experiments to be conducted within suborbital flight in the fields of medicine, space flight physiology, advanced materials, and fluid dynamics. It was signed, in a disjoined digital format, between Air Brigadier General Roberto Vittori and the Director of the Department of Engineering, ICT and Technologies for Energy and Transport, Emilio Campana, the’agreement between the Italian Air Force and National Research Council.“Aerospace is a strategic sector characterised by rapid technological changes and involves industries of national importance. The CNR – commented engineer Emilio Campana – It therefore continues in its mission to provide scientific and technological support to the country system, engaging its researchers in the development of new technologies and carrying out advanced scientific research, in this case in close Collaboration with national defence institutions“. The Italian Air Force is an institution characterised by a strong technological vocation and, thanks to the expertise gained in this sector, contributes, in synergy with other national institutions, to facilitating, supporting, and guiding technological development in the aerospace sector.
