Road accident Grosseto: two Air Force personnel deceased, the Armed Force's condolences.

In the clash between two cars, outside the Grosseto military airport, four other servicemen were injured.

The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Squad General Luca Goretti, on behalf of all the personnel of the Armed Force, expresses his deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the two deceased servicemen, Lieutenant Riccardo Latino and Warrant Officer Francesco Antonio Guglielmucci, both serving in the 36th Fighter Wing of Gioia del Colle (BA), this morning following a serious road accident that occurred on the state highway near the Grosseto military airport, home of the 4th Fighter Wing.

Four other Italian Air Force soldiers were injured in the incident. They were on board one of the two vehicles involved and were immediately assisted and taken to nearby local hospitals.

The dynamics of the incident are not currently known.

The individuals involved in the incident are all members of the Italian Air Force, on a mission at the Grosseto base for training activities currently underway these days.

Personnel from the 4th Wing immediately intervened on site to support law enforcement and rescue teams.
