The “Sicurezza 2021” exhibition, a benchmark event in Europe for security and fire prevention, has concluded in Milan. The predominant theme of this edition: cyber security. The “Security 2021“, the benchmark event in Europe dedicated to the topics Security and firefighting. Present among the 380 companies from 27 nations was also the Italian Air Force, which, with a static display, highlighted some of the professional and technological resources of the Armed Forces. The event was opened by Minister of Defence Lorenzo Guerini and by the Councillor for Security of the Municipality of Milan, Marco Granelli, in the presence of numerous military and civil authorities. Also present, representing the Armed Forces, was the Commander of the 1st Air Region and Commander of the Military Garrison of Milan, Air Division General Francesco Vestito.
On an area of approximately 160 square metres, the Italian Air Force showcased some of its operational capabilities in the fields of biocontainment, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN), Artificial Intelligence applied to medicine, as well as Cyber Security, the predominant theme of this edition.
