It President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, visited yesterday morning, together with Secretary of State for Defence, Guido Crosetto, the Museum of the Military Air Force in Vigna di Valle, recently renovated and inaugurated on June 16th. The President and the Minister were welcomed by Chief of the Air Staff Air Force General Luca Goretti.
The Museum represents the place where aviation activity in Italy began. In the 1960s, the base was renovated and transformed into a Sports Center and a Center for Collecting Historical Aircraft, and in 1977 it officially became a Historical Museum.
The Museum has the task of disseminating the culture of aeronautics, the history and traditions of the Armed Forces throughout their progressive evolution.
