High-wing, single-engine, two-seat reconnaissance monoplane.
The Ansaldo A.120 was a large monoplane test-flown in 1925 by Arturo Ferrarin with a 400 hp Lorraine Dietrich 12 DB engine.
The A.120 was purchased by the Royal Air Force in December 1926.
In 1931, the A.120 was tested at Montecelio in the “R” version, with a 700 horsepower Fiat A24.R engine and extensive modifications to the cockpit.
