Twin-engine bomber, low-wing monoplane, of wooden construction.
The first flight was made on 2 March 1936 but, proving rather unstable, it was redesigned with new tailplanes and Asso engines.
In 1937, they were assigned to the 18th Stormo at Aviano.
The concurrent development of the Piaggio P.111 led to the abandonment of the Cant Z.1011 project.
