Raccomandazioni generali aggiornate al 02/09/2010.
- accendere fuochi (neanche per griglie portatili) e fumogeni;
- il pernottamento all’interno dell’aeroporto;
- effettuare attività di propaganda e/o proselitismo di tipo commerciale, politico o religioso.
- Ricordare il cancello utilizzato per entrare, che dovrà essere usato anche per l’uscita, facilita il raggiungimento dell’autovettura o della navetta per rientrare ai parcheggi in tempi veloci.

Hints and tips
- Be at the airport ahead of time. Gates will open at 7.30AM
- Expect long delays to get in and out the airport.
- Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes. You will likely stand and walk a lot. Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, especially for little children. Protect your ears with earplugs or anti-noise earphones.
- Folding chairs and blankets can be useful to take some rest. It is advisable to bring some rainproof blanket or jacket, in case of bad weather.
- Help us keeping clean and safe the area! At Rivolto Air Force Base we recycle, so we invite you to sort your waste and use the appropriate waste cans. Garbage is a very serious threat to flight safety. Even some children’s toys, such as kites and ballons can be dangerous for the air show.
- Smoking is not allowed near the aircrafts and in the static display area.
- Never leave backpacks, bags or other containers unattended.
- It is forbidden to access areas closed by barriers or white-and-red tapes.
- Item prohibited are all weapons, including firearms, knives, sharp objects. Glass containers, alcoholic drinks, drugs, animals, big bags, gas tanks (including camping ones) and ice coolers are not allowed.
- At the gate of the airport and in the public area checks will be made with metal detectors and canine units.
- Besides, you will not be allowed to:
- light fires (not even for portable grills) and smokes
- spend the night inside the airport
- hold an activity of commercial, political or religious propaganda or proselytism
- Always follow directions given from the military personnel in the area of the show. Remember the gate you used to get into the airport. That is your exit gate.

Cosa è la manifestazione aerea in occasione del 50° Anniversario della P.A.N.?
L’Aeronautica Militare organizza sabato 11 e domenica 12 settembre 2010 una manifestazione aerea per celebrare il 50° Anniversario della costituzione della Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale “Frecce Tricolori”. Si tratta di una esibizione aerea durante la quale sarà possibile ammirare le evoluzioni in volo delle pattuglie acrobatiche più famose al mondo e di alcuni tra i velivoli più rappresentativi dell’Aeronautica Militare. Saranno inoltre presenti, in mostra statica, numerosi velivoli e sistemi di difesa di produzione, o in fase di sviluppo, presso l’industria aerospaziale nazionale. |
What is the air show for the 50th anniversary of PAN?
On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2010 the Italian Air Force is staging an air show to celebrate 50 years from the foundation of the Italian Aerobatic Team “Frecce Tricolori”. During the Air Show you will be able to admire the most famous Aerobatic Teams in the world and of some of the most representative aircrafts of the Italian Air Force.
Moreover, there will be a static display with several aircrafts and defense’s systems in production or in development by the national aerospace industry. |

Cosa troverò in aeroporto ?
Saranno presenti dei chioschi presso i quali sarà possibile acquistare bevande e cibo. Saranno presenti WC chimici (anche per diversamente abili) in tutta l’area della manifestazione. Sarà inoltre in funzione il servizio di pronto soccorso medico, svolto con la collaborazione del servizio 118 e della Croce Rossa Italiana. |
What will I find in the airport?
You will find kiosks where you will be able to buy food and drinks. There will be chemical toilets (also for people with disabilities) all over the public area.
A medical emergency service will be available, thanks to the emergency service 118 and to the Italian Red Cross. |

La manifestazione si farà lo stesso in caso di pioggia?
L'evento non viene cancellato a priori. Il servizio meteorologico dell’Aeronautica Militare è in grado di stabilire con buona precisione se esistono finestre di tempo idoneo nelle quali far decollare le varie esibizioni. Inoltre ogni pattuglia acrobatica ha programmi di volo diversi che si adattano alle varie condizioni meteorologiche. |
What happens in case it rains?
The event will not be necessarily cancelled.
The Italian Air Force weather service can assert with high precision if there are spans of proper weather during which the different programs can be performed.
Besides, every team has different programs, to adapt to the actual weather conditions. |

Ci sono delle aree speciali?
Saranno predisposte alcune aree particolari:
- L'area Autorità e VIP con accesso su invito gestito direttamente dallo Stato Maggiore dell'Aeronautica Militare.
- L'area degli chalet sponsor con accesso gestito dagli sponsor stessi.
- L'area per le persone diversamente abili il cui accesso è su accreditamento ottenuto dopo aver compilato il modulo presente accanto all'icona diversamente abili nella sezione "come arrivare".
- L'area Media il cui accesso è previo accreditamento, ottenuto dopo aver compilato il modulo presente nell'area Media.
- L'area A.M. il cui accesso è consentito solamente al personale della Forza Armata, in servizio e in quiescenza.

Will there be special areas?
A few special areas will be arranged:
- an Authority and VIP area, accessible only with an invite from the Italian Air Force’s Air Staff
- a sponsors’ area, where the access is managed by the sponsors themselves
- an area for people with disabilities, which can be accessed registering in advance at section “How to get there”
- an area for the media, which can be accessed registering in advance at section “Media”
- an Italian Air Force area, for Italian Air Force service members, in service or retired.

Vengo in camper. Dove posso parcheggiare? Posso sostare la notte ?
Potrà approfittare dei parcheggi attrezzati presenti in zona (si veda la cartina all’inizio della pagina “Come arrivare”) o dei campeggi nelle vicinanze. Da queste aree non sarà previsto il servizio di bus navetta da e per l’aeroporto.
E’ inoltre consentita la sosta dei camper nei giorni di sabato 11 e domenica 12 settembre, al costo di 10 Euro al giorno, presso il parcheggio (non attrezzato) adiacente l’ingresso sud dell’aeroporto. Il parcheggio aprirà i cancelli alle ore 00.01 di sabato 11, per consentire la sosta dei camper in arrivo durante la notte tra venerdì 10 e sabato 11.

I am coming by caravan/RV. Where can I park? Can I stay overnight?
You can use the equipped camper areas or campings nearby the airport (check the map at the top of the page “How to get here”). Please note that the shuttle service from this areas will not be provided.
The parking lot of Rivolto is also available for the overnight stay between Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th (cost 10 Euros each day), but no services are provided. This parking lot is nearby the south entrance and will open at 00.01 AM Saturday 11th, for those arriving during the night of Friday 10th.

Saranno predisposti dei parcheggi, su superficie dura, all’interno dell’aeroporto. Non sarà predisposto un servizio di custodia dei caschi. |
I am coming by motorbike/bycicle. Can I get into the base?
Yes, there will be dedicated parkings, on concrete, inside the airport. We cannot provide any crash helmet custody service. |

Vengo in auto. Posso entrare in base?
No. Saranno predisposti 2 parcheggi a pagamento, esterni all’Aeroporto.
Il primo, nel Comune di Campoformido (UD) – SS. 13 Pontebbana, costerà 3 euro. Da questo parcheggio partiranno i bus navetta, il cui costo è di 3 euro a persona (a/r), per raggiungere l’aeroporto.
Il secondo, nelle immediate vicinanze dell’aeroporto (in località Rivolto), costerà 6 euro.
Sarà possibile ritornare ai parcheggi anche durante la manifestazione.
Le modalità per raggiungere i parcheggi verranno indicate mediante cartellonistica in loco e sono comunque disponibili nella sezione "come arrivare" oppure contattando il numero verde 800-313050 (orario: 10.00 – 18.00 lunedì - venerdì). |
I am coming by car. Can I drive into the base?
No. There will be 2 remote parking lots available.
The first one, in the City of Campoformido (UD) – SS. 13 Pontebbana, will have a cost of 3 euros.
From this parking lot there will be shuttle buses, to and from the airport, at a cost of 3 euros (round trip) per person.
The second one, in the immediate surroundings of the airport (Rivolto) will have a cost of 6 euros.
It will be possible to go back to the parking lots during the air show.

Vengo con un pullman. Posso entrare in base?
L’accesso in aeroporto con i pullman sarà consentito solo ai titolari di accredito (contattare il numero verde 800-313050 / 50pan@aeronautica.difesa.it per verificare il buon esito della richiesta).
Gli accrediti disponibili per le giornate di Sabato 11 e Domenica 12 Settembre sono esauriti.
Per gli autobus NON in possesso di accredito è stato predisposto un ampio parcheggio presso lo Stadio Friuli di Udine (lato SUD). Da questo parcheggio sarà disponibile il servizio bus navetta che trasporterà il pubblico nei pressi dell’aeroporto di Rivolto. I am coming by bus. Can I get into the base?
Access to the airport by bus is allowed by accreditation only.
Due to the overwhelming response, we no longer accept accreditation requests for Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th.
If you don’t have an accreditation, you can park at the Udine’s Stadium (South parking lot). From here, a shuttle service will be available to reach the airport. This service is on demand only, please call +39 0432 608154 (mon-fri 09.00-12.00/14.30-16.30) or contact barbara.bertoni@saf.ud.it to schedule your ride to the airport.

No, ci dispiace. E' comunque possibile atterrare nelle numerose avio-superfici ed aeroporti vicini che si stanno organizzando per fornire il massimo dell'ospitalità in occasione del nostro anniversario. |

Will I be able to buy gadgets or souvenirs?
Yes. You will be able to help the Italian Air Force and Frecce Tricolori to support A.I.R.C. (Italian Association for Cancer Research) in its activity buying promotional gadgets of the Italian Air Force and Frecce Tricolori.
You will also be able to visit the kiosk of Rivista Aeronautica (the Italian Air Force newspaper) where you will find posters, flyers and DVDs (free and/or with fee) about the world of the Italian Air Force and acrobatic flight. |
